Corrin joined BTIS in November 2015 in the role of Head of Diversified Portfolio Management and has more than 20 years' experience working across various industries, most recently as Manager, Investment Strategies at Sunsuper.
Corrin is responsible for delivering on the investment objectives for all the BTIS diversified portfolios (multi-manager and lifestage). In particular, he is responsible for the formulation and implementation of strategic asset allocations and oversees the tactical asset allocation/dynamic asset allocation processes, along with overseeing the meeting of regulatory requirements, reporting and the preparation of the relevant Board papers containing investment recommendations.
Prior to this Corrin has held a number of roles across a variety of industries including Russell Investment Group, lnTech, MCA NZ Limited, Watson Wyatt Worldwide and previous to that, Rolls Royce, Koeberg Nuclear Power Station and Aegis Insurance Company.
Corrin graduated from the University of Cape Town with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia.
James joined BTIS in October 2016 as Head of Equities. Prior to this, he was Head of Equities Research – Australia and NZ for Russell Investments where he had responsibility for researching and recommending investment managers in Australian and New Zealand equities and Australian small companies. He also worked with other senior Russell leaders to develop and enhance Russell’s research capabilities and practice and was responsible for the design and development of the Russell Australian Responsible Investment ETF.
Prior to this, James was General Manager of Equities and a Director of Glebe Asset Management Limited from 1996-2004. Before moving into funds management in 1990, James had an extensive background in IT, working in a diverse range of financial and technical industries.
Daniel joined BT Investment Solutions (BTIS) in November 2015 as Portfolio Manager, and has over 14 years industry experience across investment management and structured finance.
Prior to joining BTIS, Daniel spent over 5 years as a senior analyst in the multi-manager team as the lead on fixed interest and alternative credit portfolios and was responsible for manager research and selection, portfolio construction and researching new opportunities across various asset classes. Daniel also spent 5 years first as a senior analyst then as the Investment Director for FuturePlus Financial Services where he was responsible for advising on manager selection, portfolio construction and asset allocation to the Energy Industry super fund. Other prior roles include Senior Investment Analyst at Auscoal super and Maritime super and for several years as an analyst in the structured finance sector with Moodys Investor Service and AMP Ltd.
Daniel received a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales in 2002. He is also a CFA Charterholder and member of the CFA society of Sydney. He is currently undertaking the last subject for a Master of Applied Finance degree with Macquarie University.
Adrian joined BTFG in December 1999 and has more than 18 years' industry experience across investment strategy, product, and finance. Adrian is currently Head of Portfolio Construction and Sustainability and prior to this was Portfolio Manager covering AAM's sustainable investment practices and portfolio wide initiatives such as Superannuation investment strategies, including BTFG's MySuper portfolios. His experience in the team covers equities, property, and tailored portfolio solutions such as those appropriate for Foundations and defined benefit clients' portfolios, in addition he has significant transition management and portfolio restructuring experience.
In prior roles at BT, he was Head of Product and Business for investments, a member of the investment committee and had responsibility for product development, product management, investment implementation, transition management and business aspects of the team. Prior to BTFG, Adrian gained extensive financial services experience with Ernst & Young both in Australia and overseas.
Adrian holds the Certified Investment Management Consultant designation through Investment Management Consultants Association (2007), has a Bachelor of Commerce degree (with Merit) from the University of New South Wales and has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia since 1993.
Kirsten joined BTIS in May 2016 as Head of Quantitative Analytics. Prior to this she was working within the BT Equities Derivative Trading team where she was mainly focussed on modelling tail risk exposures, derivative pricing and risk modelling, interest rate risk and balance sheet management across structured products and Protect to Grow strategies. Kirsten brings to the team close to 15 years sell side trading and quantitative modelling experience.
Kirsten has worked across most asset classes within Financial Markets; beginning as a Fixed Income research intern at Macquarie Bank, moving to WBC as a Graduate Trainee within Quantitative Risk, pre transitioning to the Front Office in Electricity Derivatives trading, modelling and risk management before moving to her prior role within the BT Equities Derivative Trading team.
Throughout her career in sell-side pricing, trading and modelling risk, Kirsten has developed extensive applied experience in Stochastic modelling (SDEs and PDEs), computational finance, numerical integration and optimisation techniques as well as Time Series modelling.
Kirsten has a Bachelor of Applied Finance (Econometrics/Applied Mathematics) and Masters of Applied Mathematics (by Research).
