Advance believes Henderson Global Investors' experience in investing in commodity futures is key to the implementation of its tailored commodity strategy. The strict rules-based approach to diversifying individual commodity positioning across the curve and flexibility to incorporate Advance's specific market views and portfolio objectives were also viewed as complementary to the overall management of the Advance Diversified Multi-Blend Funds.
Advance believes Henderson operates a logical and well thought-out investment process and its ownership structure strongly aligns management and investor interests. Advance favours Henderson's strong quantitative credit valuation process and we also have a high regard for the high calibre senior investment team, who have worked together for many years.
