Why Advance selected River and Mercantile

River and Mercantile has been appointed to manage international shares in the portfolios due to the strength and experience of its investment team and disciplined investment process in terms of bottom-up security analysis, sell discipline and risk management. Its bottom-up security value biased approach complements the other managers in the Fund, along with the breadth of its portfolio, which includes a focus on exploiting smaller market cap companies.
