Vinva has been appointed to manage an allocation within the Advance Australian Shares Multi-Blend portfolio to provide a low risk, low volatility, consistent return foundation, which is expected to improve the return profile of the portfolio.
The appointment of Vinva introduces a systematic multi-factor approach which will bring unique, diversifying sources of alpha and diversification from a process perspective, complementing the existing line up of fundamental stock pickers.
Vinva exhibits a number of distinct competitive advantages over the peer group of quantitative managers and the broader universe inclusive of fundamental approaches. These points of difference exist across various facets of the capability and have led to our conclusion that that we expect Vinva to meet its risk and return objectives and deliver superior outcomes against its peer group. The key areas of strength lie in the people, the process and the research.
